The JRL Experience

John's experience lies in an entire career, since college, in the real estate business. The son of a builder/developer, he is steeped in the profession. As a young man, taking a hiatus from the family business, he joined a commercial real estate firm in Newark, NJ and managed 60 commercial and apartment buildings. He worked with the mortgage firm's department as well, approving funding for multi-million dollar housing developments. At the ripe old age of 28, he joined the firm's Executive Committee as Assistant to the President.

He then rejoined his father, who was developing major vacation home communities in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. John became a leader in the industry, becoming President of the Pennsylvania Vacationland Developers Association, a state wide trade association. During this twenty five year period he developed nearly 10,000 homesites for as many satisfied customers, along with his brothers, in four major vacation home communities.

At age 38, John and his wife Millie saw the potential and purchased an ocean front property and built a home on Angelfish Cay at the beautiful Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida. After 26 years, he wound up most of his business in Pennsylvania, so he and Millie could move to Ocean Reef full-time, fulfilling their long time dream.

Thirty years of home ownership and a lifetime member gives John the sensitivity which, when coupled with his vast experience in this industry, provides his clients with the expertise required to guide them, both Buyers and Sellers, with the information and care needed on their real estate investments.
